The Call
When we look around on Sunday morning and see very few young adult church members, we must ask ourselves, "What spiritual resources or programs have we provided for them?" The truth is, not many.
It is no surprise that un-served/under-served groups are minimally represented or absent from our congregation - they walk through our doors and we having nothing for them, so they walk back out. But KPUMC can seize these opportunities.
In many cases, small changes can make big impacts. At a total annual cost of $852, the church now has a new website, Facebook page, the GenerationNEXT group, and eNewsletters for the Youth and GenerationNEXT. What could another thousand dollars and some passionate volunteers do for 20-somethings? As Pastor Harrison has continued to write in his blog, developing youth and the next generation of KPUMC is not up to him. It's up to us. Are we ready to take on the challenge?

Join the Effort
We are looking for committed individuals interested in organizing, facilitating, and scheduling a variety of programs and events for adults in their 20s.

We are looking for passionate folks willing to fund, organize, facilitate, and participate in programs and events for the next generation - we can’t wait to meet and work with you!
