 Venture Crew 5 
About

Venture Crew 5 is a co-ed Venturing Crew located in the North Oak Cliff area and sponsored by Kessler Park United Methodist Church. We welcome youth between the ages of 13 and 20 who are interested in fun, fellowship and high adventure in the outdoors, whether they come from a scouting background or not. We are also active in the community, completing a number of charitable events each year.

Monthly Meetings
When: 6pm on the 2nd Monday of the month
Where: Scouting Hut in Robert's Forest (church grounds next to parking lot)
Past Events
  • Scuba diving in the Florida Keys
  • Canoed Caddo Lake
  • Camped at numerous other state parks and campgrounds
  • Prepared and served dinner at Hillcrest House (AIDS Hospice)
  • Provided a youth play area at several Kessler neighborhood functions
  • Participated in cleanup days at both Kidd Springs Park and White Rock Lake
